The Preparation of High Performance Gelatin/Hyaluronic Acid Sponge Bone Scaffold

Bone injury is common in daily life and polymer bone scaffold are potential materials in the area of bone tissue engineering and it can assit the new bone tissue formation process. The study is aimed at preparation of high performance gelatin/hyaluronic acid sponge bone scaffold. Gelatin, hyaluronic acid and glutaraldehyde was use to prepare the bone scaffold. Besides, this study choosed freeze thaw method and freeze-drying method as the processing method, surface observation test, pore size analysis, pore connectivity test and MTT assay was used to evaluate the properties of the gelatin/ hyaluronic acid sponge bone scaffold product. Hydro4-1-1.5 is the best parameter and it has the best cell survival rate.
