Frequency diverse array spatio-temporal stable beam pattern

Frequency diverse array(FDA) is a new field in array processing, attracting the attention of lot many researchers. Among the several features and applications of FDA, publications proposed an interesting time-invariant beam pattern. Time invariant beam pattern is a very attractive property having several unique applications. Even though the proposed time-invariant techniques have been rebutted as unachievable, still curiosity remains, whether such a time-invariant stable pattern can be achieved. Here the requirements and the concept is built from the basics. Further a novel method is proposed to achieve the near stable beam pattern and its prospective application as active radar decoy systems.
