Performance Analysis of Optimized Path in Software Defined Network

Software-Defined Network (SDN) has brought an enormous transformation to conventional networks. Due to this configuration and dynamic adaption has been enabled. SDN creates a virtual network in data centers where centralized control for the whole network is formed by the controllers. Still, to avoid network crowding, the topology which we are using should be more scalable and flexible. So, in this paper, the topology named fat-tree is designed for finding the optimized path between client and server. For the message transmission, the OpenFlow protocol is used. These results are achieved on a certain time intermission to calculate the transmission layer protocol bandwidth. Similarly, a collation between delay and hop count on the basis of the optimized path. To design the network topology, a specific tool Mininet is used for routing of packet RYU controller. Finally, this paper conclude that during the transmission of packets from the client to the server, network throughput can be enhanced by having low weight or delay and low hop count.
