Nglanggeran 3D Modelling for Virtual Reality Asset with Oblique Close Range Photogrammetry

3D modeling has become very important in various applications such a s architecture, tourism, health, education, services, marketing, etc. For virtual reality (VR), the 3D model is built as closely as possible to the real object. The measuring similarities are in the object's shape, texture, geometry, and coordinates of 3D models. With ordinary drawing techniques, a model that is similar to the original object certainly requires a long time to build. By using the oblique close-range photogrammetric technique, all of the problems can be solved. With the SONY ILCE- 5100 pocket camera, 3D modeling of the landscape on the Nglanggeran Ancient Volcano (AV) hiking tracks can be modeled well. In this study, there is also a camera capture procedure and processing for modeling in a large area in a short time. This processing also found the optimum result for modeling the hiking track for Nglanggeran AV. These steps include camera setting, how to capture pictures, selecting the quality images, processing 3D, and editing.
