Linear Bottle filling system using Simatic S7-200 and S7-1200 PLC with HMI control

The paper focuses on designing, developing, coordinating and tracking of “Linear bottle filling system using Siemens S7-200 PLC”. PLC is used as the primary control, which is linked to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) to control and monitor the processes on a PC using Siemens remote communication interface with an Open Process Control (OPC) network. This is project highlights industrial automation, with application in milk industry, oil, water, chemical, paints and several industrial packaging industries. A model has been designed to demonstrate the process. In a PLC simulation software, the system was implemented. It was then evaluated in a hardware prototype. The results of the tests confirmed that it could be used in the actual world without modifying the original code.
