Abstract:

In terms of IT (Information technology - a broad term that includes the development, installing and use of anything to do with computing and telecommunications) engineering education, bridging the gap between conventional academic courses on IT theory and actual industrial practice is one of the most crucial difficulties of the educational program. Because of this, it is significant to provide students with access to equipment, procedures, and techniques that are as comparable to those they would encounter in industrial settings. The laboratory plays a vital role in the teaching of engineering, electronics, telecommunication, and applied science. With the development of the Internet and linking IT technologies between them, the development of virtual and remote laboratories was inevitable. In this paper, we suggest a distance learning approach through a remote laboratory for power electronics based on the Red Pitaya board. A detailed example has the subject of studying the step-up converter.

I. Introduction

Since qualified engineers are needed for the creation of innovative products and services as well as the optimization of production processes that not only reveal high productivity and provide high-quality products but are also sustainable and make effective use of natural resources, engineering education is a key issue for the majority of countries.
