Design and Build of the Mist Sprayer Powered by Solar Panels for Cultivating Oyster Mushrooms

The growth of oyster mushrooms is influenced by environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and humidity in the mushroom growing media. The present invention relates to an environmental engineering technology to support the growth of oyster mushrooms. More specifically, the present invention serves as a means of increasing watering time efficiency and reducing agricultural labor costs. The present invention is reviewed from the component specifications, humidity, temperature, growing media humidity, automatic or manual control, system power from solar panels, duration of misting, and battery backup power capacity. This system uses a solar panel as the main power supply and a water pump with an atomizing nozzle. This invention can be controlled automatically or manually by the farmer. The solar panel system that drives the mist sprayer is designed using the methods of observation, design, and computational analysis. Monitoring the parameters needed by the fungus in terms of temperature, humidity, and humidity of the growing media. The results showed that the use of solar panels as a source of mist spray for oyster mushroom cultivation can speed up the traditional spraying process by 60 minutes or 80%, reducing production labor costs and spraying time for farmers.
