Cardiac strain measurement with DENSE MRI: a review

Heart disease is a strong threat to human health. Cardiac strain is an indicator that enables early diagnosis of heart disease. DENSE is one of the new MRI modalities for obtaining cardiac strain, which can directly reflect the movement of the heart, with high resolution and capable of three-dimensional imaging. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the advantages and limitations of DENSE technology through literature review and discuss its development direction.
