IoT Based Monitoring for the Growth of Basil Using Machine Learning

Earlier farmers had to monitor all of the essential items on the field themselves or hire other workers. For starters, it necessitates human inspection of all farming-related items and is time demanding. Second, it suffers a significant loss as a result of crop damage in the field if constant monitoring is not performed properly. As a result of the substantial drawbacks, conventional farming is not a viable alternative. It will also be unable to meet the rising food demand in the next years. As a result, there is a need for smart agricultural systems that would overcome these flaws by making decisions on their own in difficult settings. Different sensors are incorporated in the autonomous system to gather real time data and support decision-making in the field of precision agriculture.
