Digital Calibration Method of Timing Skew in Time-Interleaved ADC

This paper presents a digital background calibration method, which is adapted to the Time-Interleaved ADC and is mainly used to calibrate the inter-channel timing skew. The related statistical characteristics of the inter-channel data are used for error detection, and the clock configuration is updated through the iterative step produced by the binary search method. This paper uses a 14bit 4GS/s pipelined SAR TI-ADC to test this digital calibration method and the method works well.
