Chapter Abstract:

In recent years, the growth of digital information technology greatly impacted academic and industries database – the maximum of the data stored in the digital libraries. The digital system uses a large database of unstructured data form. For classifying these data automatically, the system uses machine‐ and deep‐learning techniques to classify them into organized or structured forms without interaction of manual needs either online or offline. The data may be text, image, or speech; data can be converted according to our needs using these techniques. In this chapter, text and speech processing are used for different applications. The applications of text processing and the methodologies of text to image generation, automatic caption generation, Manipuri handwritten script recognition, and natural language processing using machine‐ and deep‐learning techniques of different learning methodologies have been discussed. Sign language recognition, text reading for blind people, and acoustic components of automatic speech recognition using deep learning were discussed.
