Evaluation of Operating Status of Distribution Transformers Based on the Set Pair Analysis Method

The distribution transformer fault mechanism is complex, and the data factors reflecting transformer operating condition information are numerous and uncertain. To this end, an index system is established based on engineering experience, and a two-layer evaluation model is established based on a combination of set-pair analysis and evidence theory fusion for distribution transformer operating condition assessment. The first layer of the model uses the set-pair analysis method to deal with uncertainty and generate the trust distribution function. In the second layer, the trust distribution function of each factor is fused with evidence and the conflicting evidence is processed to generate the final affiliation, and then the maximum affiliation principle is used to evaluate the operational status of the transformer in combination with the confidence criterion. After the example analysis, the validity of the method is initially verified, which can provide a new way of thinking for the condition assessment and maintenance strategy formulation of distribution transformers.
