Optimal Control of Pulverizing System Based on Adaptive Dynamic Programming

To improve the anti-disturbance capability of the pulverizing system in thermal power plants, considering the safety of pulverizing system equipment, this paper proposes a control algorithm based on adaptive dynamic programming. The algorithm solves the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equation by constructing a cost function, and then continuously updates the optimal control strategy through policy iteration. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the ability to resist various disturbances that the system may face, ensure that the pulverizing system can run in a better state, and ensure the economy, environmental protection and stability of the unit operation.
