Effects of Spiking and Bursting Behaviors of Neurons on Synchronization and Plasticity

In neuroscience studies, examining the behavior of neurons and modeling these behaviors are considered as an important issue. It is tried to explain many cognitive processes, diseases or disorders by associating neuron behaviors with phenomena such as synaptic plasticity and neural synchronization. In this study, point neuron models with different membrane potential behaviors are discussed and how synaptic plasticity and synchronization changed in neuron groups formed from these neurons is investigated.
