Foundation Structural Resistance Calculation of SF6 High-Voltage Circuit Breaker

The paper presents how is performed a foundation structural resistance calculation of SF6 high-voltage circuit breaker. The foundation represents the lower part of a building that has the role of transmitting the loads from the superstructure to the foundation ground and of participating, along with the other structural elements, in ensuring the strength, stability, exploitation and durability of the construction. For the structural design the type of foundation is chosen, the height of the foundation and the reinforcement of the concrete elements are established. The article also illustrates how the mechanical vibrations can affect the good exploit of the high-voltage circuit breaker due to foundation structural resistance problem.
