Inverse Charge Constant On-time Control with Output Current Feedforward for Superimposed Pulse Power Supply

Pulsed power supply (PPS) has been widely used in various applications. Its output current is pulsed, while output voltage and input power are required to be stable. Therefore, power decoupling scheme and load current tracking ability would have a great impact to the performance of the PPS. To solve the contradiction between the volume and efficiency in conventional active and passive power decoupling schemes, a superimposed pulse power supply that can adjust the volume and efficiency is introduced in this paper, and to improve the load current tracking performance of the PPS, an inverse charge constant on-time control with output current feedforward (OCF-IQCOT) is introduced.
