Comparative study of the intelligent techniques (fuzzy logic and neural network) of the ABS system

Antilock braking system improves vehicle stability and direction control ability, allowing the wheel to stop without reducing and locking the distance to stop. A model of a quarter auto model of electronically monitored slowing mechanism (ABS) has been created. The objective of a conventional ABS control system is to bring the vehicle to a complete stop as quickly as feasible by rapidly eliminating the discrepancy between the actual slip ratio and a predefined reference value. Robust controllers such as fuzzy logic and neural network are proposed to solve the ABS problems. Then, the results of these intelligent commands are compared with the outcomes of the conventional linear controllers (BB and PI).
