Simulink Blocks Implementation for Fractional Order Models Simulation based On DAFI Filter

This paper, presents some useful and convenient blocks based on the so called Digital Adjustable Fractional Integrator (DAFI), implemented in Simulink MATLAB environment. Best performances (simulation run time, noise filtering) are obtained compared to the other existing block tools such as in FOMCOM toolbox. Due to its good performance, these blocks can be considered as powerful tools for online identification and real-time control of dynamic systems. Some numerical examples confirm the effectiveness of the designed blocks.
