Thermal Model for Heat Conduction in Octagonal Integrated Inductor Multilayer

The main of this paper is to develop a thermal model of an octagonal integrated inductor multilayer. A comprehensive study on the topology of inductor is presented to obtain a better quality factor. Temperature distribution is obtained using analytical calculation from finite difference method and finite element method in 2D. The results of this analytical method are compared with simulation results using Comsol software. The good agreement between the results of calculations and simulation is obtained.
