Analysis of TID testing of a statistically large quantity of parts

Information on traceability of parts and lots is a key component of Radiation Hardness Assurance (RHA), but experiences growing difficulty with the increased use of Commercial off the shelf (COTS) parts. Various methods are investigated in this work to characterize the lot-to-lot variability and determine whether an optimal sample size can be determined. Comparisons are made to previous studies and the legitimacy of core assumptions are challenged and investigated.
