Operation Optimization of Rural Areas' Energy System Considering its Characteristics in New Era

With the implementation of the Chinese rural revitalization strategy, supply the energy consumed in rural area in a low-carbon and more sustainable way is the supreme goal of rural energy revolution. In order to realize this goal, optimize the operation of the rural areas' energy system by taking into the increasing electrification level and the changing of its energy structure is essential. This paper proposes an operation optimization method for rural energy systems considering its new characteristics in new era. Firstly, the characteristics of the new rural energy system and the coordinating potential of various flexible resources is analyzed. Then, the operating models and boundary of the energy conversion equipment are constructed based on their physical characteristics. After that the optimizing model of the whole system operation as well as its solving algorithm are given. Finally, a case study of an energy system composed of PV generation, base electric load, air controllers and water heaters is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
