Demand Response Dynamic Pricing and Economic Scheduling Considering Energy Consumption Characteristics

Demand response can quickly alleviate the pressure of supply and demand imbalance by guiding and encouraging customers to actively optimize electricity consumption patterns and market participation behaviors through incentive mechanisms or price signals, which has become an effective way to improve power system reliability and reduce energy costs. In this paper, based on the hierarchical electricity market structure, considering the customers' response to the difference in retail electricity price between adjacent time periods, the time-price elasticity coefficient is introduced to establish a demand response system model aiming at maximizing the comprehensive income of electricity retailer and customers. CPLEX is used to solve the model. The correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by numerical simulation of an electricity retailer and three customers.
