Mass-Diffusivity Determination of Four Tropical Wood Species Used In Benin Country

Hygrothermal behavior of building affects its overall performance. The device presented, in this work is used to identify in perpendicular direction of fiber the coefficient of mass diffusivity and the sorption isotherms of four tropical woods species from adsorption/desorption. In perpendicular direction for fiber, for an equilibrium range, mass diffusivity in desorption is higher than those obtained in adsorption. Results obtained in this paper are suitable for a proper use of these woods species.
