Experimental Study on Single-phase Incomplete Grounding of 35kV Transmission Line Under Wildfire Conditions

In recent years, there have been many forest fire accidents. Mountain fire disasters have a high probability of causing line trips, resulting in power outages, threatening the safe and stable operation of the power system. In order to study the single-phase fault of 35kV transmission lines caused by wildfires, a simulation test platform for wildfire faults of 35kV transmission lines under wildfire conditions was built, and the single-phase fault simulation test of conductors under wildfire conditions was carried out, and the flames were recorded and analyzed. Test waveforms and phenomena for single-phase conductor tests. The test found that when a single-phase-to-ground fault occurs in a transmission line under wildfire conditions, the voltage amplitude of the faulted phase is not always the lowest, and the voltage amplitude of the non-faulted phase will appear to be the lowest voltage. The equivalent circuit model of single-phase incomplete grounding fault of transmission line is established. After calculation and analysis, it is found that when the grounding resistance is within a certain range, the fault phase voltage will not be the lowest phase. The results of this study can provide theoretical support for the study of measures to prevent wildfire accidents.
