Lamp Brightness Control System Using First Order Sugeno Fuzzy Model

Brightness adjustable lamp products sold in the market are open-loop, meaning that there is no feedback that can be used to control the lamp brightness. In this paper, a prototype of a lamp brightness control system is designed using the Sugeno fuzzy method which can be used in a smart home. The system design consists of the Arduino Nano microcontroller, which is used as the control center, the GY-30 light intensity sensor, which is used as feedback, the ACS712 current sensor which is used to detect the state of the lamp, and the RobotDyn dimmer module which is used as a voltage regulator on the lamp. Tests are carried out without disturbance and with disturbance conditions. The test results show that the control system can control the brightness of the lamp both when it is without disturbance and when it is with disturbance. The average error steady state is 0.13 %.
