Application of Thermal Image to Indoor Environment Temperature Monitoring and Abnormal Notification System

With the advanced technology in society, the increasing use of electrical equipment and wire sockets has led to an increase in electricity consumption at home. Nowadays, as most people are working outside, they cannot control the abnormal usage of electricity which causes dangers. This research simulates the occurrence of abnormal temperature in electrical appliances at home. An object with abnormal temperature is set up, and the environment is detected by using thermal imaging and a full-color camera with a rotating table. The detected data is transferred to Apache. The mobile device and the Raspberry Pi device share the same IP address by connecting the app to Wi-Fi at home. The app can extract the data from Apache for display so that users obtain information about the home environment at any time. When the temperature is abnormal, the App reports the abnormal message to the user through the screen. The user can learn the environmental information and the location of the abnormal temperature through the full-color camera and control the occurrence of disasters. In the future, if it is improved and installed at home, people can monitor the temperature of the home environment at any time. If there is an abnormal temperature, the user is notified to deal with it immediately for the safety of the residential environment.
