La Palma Special PAZ-Ciencia Call: a case of study of management of the scientific use of PAZ SAR products for volcanic-related studies

PAZ mission is the radar contribution of the Spanish PNOTS program. PAZ was launched on February 22, 2018 starting its Science Operation in 2019 with the publication of the first Announcement of Opportunity (AO) providing scientific PAZ products for research purposes. The usefulness of PAZ products for science has been consolidated, having more than sixty active research projects and four Scientific Calls underway. La Palma Special PAZ-Ciencia Call, was initiated when the eruption of the Spanish volcano of Cumbre Vieja began, involving a coordinated management to meet the needs of science, security and defence and commercial users.
