Application of Dynamic Stress Signals of the Elastic Supporter In Signature Extraction Technique of Aero-engine Rotor Orbit

Considering the lack of the method of plotting the rotor orbit based on vibration acceleration signals, a method of plotting the rotor orbit of the small and medium-sized Aero-engine was proposed based on the dynamic stress signals. Firstly, the dynamic stress signals of the vertical and horizontal strips of the elastic supporter were obtained, then the dynamic stress signals are decomposed by EMD, and threshold value which is established by the grey relational degree is given to distinguish which IMF components are fictitious. Practical application shows that the rotor orbit which was plotted by the dynamic stress signals with no fictitious IMF component was efficient to recognize the rotor system faults.
