Grid-connected PV Multilevel Inverter Implementation Employing Buck and Boost in Unbalanced Environmental Circumstances

This project proposes a Multi-Level Inverter (MLI) that can function in either buck or boost mode and collect maximum power concurrently from two serially linked subarrays while every subarray faces distinct environmental circumstances. The number of serially linked solar PV modules necessary to build a subarray is considerably decreased because of the MLI's ability to work in either buck or boost mode, depending on the application. As a consequence, the subarrays' power output improves under a variety of climatic situations. Leakage current connected to the PV arrays may be kept below the stipulated limit due to the topological configuration and the control technique for the multilevel inverter that do not include high frequency components. In addition, the device's working efficiency is maintained over its whole spectrum of operation. The Matlab/Simulink programme is used to run a lot of simulation experiments to show that the idea is practical.
