DORMMATE - A Room-Mate Personality Matching Application

Your college roommate is more than simply someone with whom you share a refrigerator; they may significantly influence your educational achievement, health, and attitudes. It’s no surprise that students spend far more time with their roommates than with their friends each day.We developed an app with the help of a machine learning module which provides pairing of roommates on the basis of their personality and lifestyle preferences. To further develop the proposed product, we acquired information from users based on the personality evaluation questionnaire, which helped in grouping them into similar clusters using K-Means Algorithm to later pair them up as roommates. The application will let the users browse through potential roommate’s profiles with an option to like their profiles.
