Abstract:
In this work we show how ns3 simulation tools can be used to evaluate smart grid networks adopting IoT devices considering standard processes typical of specific protocols belonging to standardized energy delivery protocols such as IEEE C37 1182–2011. In particular, this paper refers to mmWave IoT devices and the QoS performance are analyzed considering different smart grid architectures typical of an urban environment.
