Entropy Content and Construction Supply Models Efficiency in Conditions of Discrete Territorial Development

The paper discusses the organizational efficiency of transport in large cities and metropolitan areas and provides optimization proposals and a theoretical rationale for the need to formalize resource provision management on technical and organizational side. Entropy content and discreetness are discussed as properties of the resource provision models for large cities and territorial development; organizational shortcomings of construction supply chains are considered in the context of the ever-increasing complexity of transport processes in larger cities and lack of space in densely built-up urban areas. The territories suffering from construction supply constraints are analyzed as a special category. Given the need for a more formalized resource provision system, the paper proposes a procedure for evaluating and adjusting the technical and administrative solutions with regard to planning, transportation and ‘just-in-time’ delivery and installation cycle.
