Evaluation for Web GUI Automation Testing Tool - Experiment

Change is the only constant in software world. Due to this continuous change and rapid growth there is a great need for automation testing tools. The main goal of using such tools is to accelerate testing process and save testers time and effort. The choice of using these automation tools must be done very carefully, taking into account the project nature, budget and time. TestComplete is one of these tools which is widely used for test automation. It provides a test recorder engine to test and record GUI (Graphical User Interface) tests cases with minimal coding skills. In addition to script generation for these recorded tests. In this paper we will conduct an experiment to study and examine these features. The evaluation of this tool and its features will be based on a specific criteria for testing dynamic web application.
