Interleukin_4 gene polymorphisms and connect with asthma patients province of Thi-Qar /Iraq

The most prevalent chronic inflammatory illness of the lungs, asthma “prompts a fluctuating or even persistent airflow restriction.” Shortness of breath, wheezing, chest tightness, and persistent hacking are the main symptoms. The purpose of the current study was to look into the relationship between (IL-4) polymorphisms and asthma. The Interleukin (IL-4) Single Nucleotide Polymorphism “C-589T” (rs2243250) was genotyped using RFLP-PCR in a total of 100 blood samples from both sexes, aged between 10 and 70 years, with 60 of them having asthma and 40 of them being healthy controls. The SNP associated with asthma was dramatically increased in this study.
