Research on Modeling Method and Application of Physical Circuit of Secondary System for the Smart Substation

The design of physical circuit of secondary system for smart substation relies on CAD drawings, the design results cannot be directly imported into various application systems, so it is difficult to realize the development of advanced functions such as physical circuit visualization, condition monitoring, and fault location. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a modeling scheme of physical circuit for the smart substation. First, clarify the modeling process, define the modeling language, and design the model structure. Then, the digital design and multi-dimensional visualization of the physical circuit are realized through the configuration tool and the visualization tool. Finally, the logical circuit model information in the SCD file is mapped to the physical circuit model by using the virtual-real correspondence technology. At the same time, through the breadth traversal algorithm of graph theory, the topology relationship of physical connections is sorted out, which provides a feasible solution for online monitoring and fault location of secondary physical circuits in smart substations.
