Rapid time-varying channel estimation scheme based on OTFS and OFDM signals

Orthogonal Time Frequency & Space (OTFS) is a two-dimensional modulation technique. The OTFS system is implemented by adding preset modules and back-end processing modules in the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. Based on the pilot-assisted channel estimation scheme, this paper can effectively recover the channel matrix parameters corresponding to the pilot position by designing lattice pilots with less pilot overhead. The proposed scheme can directly estimate the frequency domain channel matrix by designing appropriate weight parameters. Finally, the simulation results show that the scheme proposed in this paper can effectively improve the demodulation accuracy of the received signal and has obvious Bit Error Rate (BER) performance gain.
