Robust Planning of Distributed Generations Incorporating Hosting Capability and Network Power Loss

To reasonably absorb large-scale renewable distributed generations (DGs), and avoid negative effects caused by excessive network loss, this paper proposes a multi-objective robust planning method DGs incorporating hosting capability and power loss. First, a multi-objective planning model of distributed power was constructed to maximize the hosting capacity and minimize power loss on the basis of robust interval modeling, and satisfying the safe and stable operation of the distribution network. DGs planning scheme and network reconfiguration scheme could be obtained. Secondly, in order to solve the multi-objective planning efficiently, a method based on the Big-M method and second-order cone relaxation was proposed, and then the Mosek solver was used to solve the transformed second order cone programming. Finally, the simulation results of the IEEE-33 node power distribution system was used to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
