SWALIS/KaRADOC Sensors: Calibration Procedure for Radar Systems for Hydrologic Remote Sensing Applications

This paper describes the radar sensors which are developped by the "Institut d’Électronique et des Technologies du PI numéRiques" (IETR) and the "Centre National des Études Spatiales" (CNES) to investigate the backscattering phenomena in near nadir conditions at the Ka band. With these sensors, briefly described in this paper, some measurement campaigns have already been conducted. In this communication, we propose rigourous calibration procedures we apply to our measurement campaigns.
