A Simple Analytical Formula for Calculating a Weakly Singular Static Potential Integral

This paper describes a new way of treating a weakly singular integral of a static potential involved in SIE-MoM formulation. The proposed approach leads to a formula, which is much simpler than the currently available ones. The new formula enables a very simple implementation and high computational efficiency in evaluation of the potential integral, while maintaining high accuracy at the same time.
