Doppler Frequency Estimation Based on Time Diversity of Random Processes in Doubly-Selective Channels

This work introduces a new method to estimate Doppler frequency which carries important characteristics feature of time-variant multipath fading channels. The proposed method employs the time diversity (TD) of general random processes with rich correlation characteristics introduced by various time intervals, where a maximum-likelihood (ML) algorithm is utilized.
