Model for Determination of Relative Humidity at Every Point in Cross-Section in Residential Premises

The paper presents a mathematical model developed in MATLAB programming environment, which is used to obtain information about the value of relative humidity at a selected point in a cross-section, formed by six points in living space. The results show that the proposed model describes the measured relative humidity in height over time. During daylight hours, the relative humidity is lower in the higher parts of the room compared to the lower parts. In the dark part of the day the results show that the trend of the change of relative humidity, relative to the height of the room, is below 1% and favors the higher parts of the room. By means of the developed model, rooms with larger geometry and larger differences in measured relative humidity between floor and ceiling can be evaluated by the similarity method.
