Numerical Investigation of Artificial Notches Using Sweep Frequency Eddy Current Testing

The article deals with using the sweep frequency eddy current approach as an alternative method for material defect evaluation. The new eddy current probe is numerically modelled. Numerical investigations using CST Studio Suite are carried out to evaluate particular parameters of the selected approach. The obtained results are presented and discussed in this paper.
