Development of High Precision DC Energy Meter

In order to meet the measurement requirements of DC in the application of industrial power system and overcome the problems of insufficient measurement accuracy and narrow measurement range of traditional electrical signals, a high-precision DC watt hour meter is designed. The system consists of voltage measurement, current measurement, parameter calculation and pulse generation. The voltage detection range is (0$\sim$1000 V) and the current detection range is (0$\sim$200 A). The main technical means is to take the FPGA of Altera company as the hardware control core, collect the voltage and current signals at high speed, calculate the parameters, and finally express the power and electric energy value in the form of electric energy pulse. After testing, the test accuracy of the electrical parameters of the system can reach level 0.02, and provides the function of user-defined parameter setting, which has high flexibility. It has high application value in the field of industrial electrical measurement.
