Impact of Demand Dispatch on Distribution System Reliability

Power consumer accept the electricity price rules passively in the traditional demand response strategy, in order to ensure the initiative of power consumer to participate in the electricity market, meanwhile considering the randomness and volatility of wind-driven generator output, a new dispatch mode emerged–demand dispatch.The implementation of demand dispatch greatly improves the security and stability of system operation. In order to research the impact of demand dispatch on distribution system reliability,a distribution system reliability evaluation model based on demand scheduling is established.Firstly, a demand dispatch control region composed of wind turbines and electric vehicles is introduced into the distribution network;Then, a demand dispatch model based on TOU is established to account the changing of the load trend;Finally, real-time load correction and load point failure rate correction are introduced into the traditional sequential Monte Carlo simulation method, and the algorithm is used to evaluate the reliability of distribution system with demand dispatch. According to the evaluation results, the impact of demand dispatch on on distribution system reliability is analyzed. The above reliability evaluation model is realized by programming algorithm on MATALB, and the simulation analysis is carried out for the improved IEEE RBTS BUS 6 test system. The simulation results show that the impact of demand dispatchg can effectively improve the reliability of the distribution network.
