Computer Assisted Design of Intelligent Sleep Monitoring System Using Raspberry Pi and Cloud Platform

Relative to tradition, more and more women are moving into the workforce. Coupled with the increased intensity of work nowadays, many parents cannot be with their babies and have to send their children to the care of their parents. As a result, many parents are unable to feel the warmth and affection of being with their children. Therefore, we designed a system that can monitor the baby’s condition in real time and handle abnormal situations. The system uses Raspberry Pi development board combined with temperature and humidity sensor, infrared sensor and MAX4466 to monitor the baby’s real-time status, display the baby’s status in real time on the mobile device applet side and handle the abnormal status, and process the data and set up the communication through MQTT protocol and Tencent cloud platform.
