Privacy-Preserving Feasibility Assessment for P2P Energy Trading and Storage Integration

The requirements of privacy preservation and autonomy of independent entities pose challenges in ensuring the network feasibility of deregulated power systems. The P2P energy trading and storage integration require privacy-preserving feasibility assessment (PPFA) to maintain network within operating limits as their independent operational decisions affect entire network. This paper presents a novel PPFA method, via probabilistic feasibility set (PFS) construction, for P2P energy trading and storage integration problem. The proposed PFS construction method is tractable and handles both load and renewable source uncertainty by using worst-case performance analysis over closed-form power flow approximation. We formulate the P2P energy trading and thermally-constrained optimal battery dispatch problem to work with the proposed PFS. The simulation results on the 33-Bus system indicate the proposed method's ability to construct a meaningful size probabilistic feasibility set under various uncertainties and provide feasible solutions for both P2P energy trading and battery dispatch problem.
