S2D Behavioral Model for Limiter

At present, there are few studies describing the external characteristics of limiters, and there is a lack of low-cost modeling solutions. In order to solve this problem, this paper simulates the power-related
$S$
-parameters in the limiting circuit, extracts its S2D model, and analyzes the model error. Compared with the simulation results of the cascaded limiter and amplifier circuit, the gain error using the S2D model and the amplifier circuit consists of the S2D model error and the inter-stage matching error, and both errors will gradually increase as the input power increases. Therefore, the S2D model of the limiter can only accurately describe the linear region and state of the circuit when it is clipped, but it can be used in receiver design.
