Research on Decoupling of a Dual-band Antenna

In this paper, a dual-patch dual-band antenna is introduced, in which the rectangular slot is digged to achieve dual-band characteristics. Due to the strong coupling effect between the independent bands of the two patch antennas, a precisely designed metasurface is considered to be imposed on the antenna to increase its isolation. The design proposed in the paper is modeled and simulated, and the antenna isolation is effectively improved in the two operation bands. At the same time, the reflection coefficient of the antenna performs well.
