A Novel Wilkinson Power Divider with High Harmonic Suppression Performance

In this letter, a novel Wilkinson power divider consisting of Π type structures with harmonic suppression performance is proposed. Because open-ended stubs in Π type structures will produce transmission zeros of S21, the harmonic suppression of power divider is realized by adjusting the different electrical lengths of open-ended stubs to produce multi-transmission zeros. The mathematical relations of substitution about transmission lines and Π type structures are deducted, and several design examples are discussed. Finally, an experimental circuit is fabricated and measured, and a high consistency exists between them.
