Characterization of a terahertz pulse train generation and modulation source

We demonstrate a new technique for the generation and active modulation of a terahertz (THz) pulse train using the combination of an echelon mirror that generates the optical beam train, a digital micromirror device (DMD) that modulates the optical beam train and a spintronic terahertz emitter (STE).
